Powers of Attorney
Powers of Attorney (PoA) are included in all enrollment packages. These documents authorize GlobeTax to prepare and file tax reclaim applications on behalf of clients. The Power of Attorney differs based on whether a client is a U.S. Resident or a Non-U.S. Resident.
- U.S. Residents must sign the PoA and have the document notarized.
- Non-U.S. Residents must sign the PoA in front of an “appropriate witness," which is defined as anyone who is not a family member.
